荆州重要考古发现 Important Archaeological Findings in Jingzhou
Cultural Relics Publishing House, 2008. 荆州博物馆位于国家历史文化名城荆州城西门内侧，是一座融陈列展览、群工接待、文物保护、田野考古、文物收藏、科学研究为一体的地方综合性博物馆。始建于一九五八年，经过四十多年的发展，荆州博物馆在地方政府和上级有关部门的重视和支持下，累计投资近亿元，目前，馆舍占地面积4.67万平方米，建筑面积达1.77万平方米。荆州博物馆配合各种基本建设，累计发掘了七千余座古墓葬和五十余处古遗址，其中江陵马山战国丝绸、江陵张家山汉简及鸡公山旧石器时代遗址均为当年全国的重大考古发现之一，出土了大批珍贵的文物。 荆州博物馆馆藏文物13多万件。其中楚国和秦汉时期的漆器逾万件，是全国收藏古代漆器数量最多的博物馆，楚和秦汉简牍数量在全国居第一，战国丝织品更以其时代早、品种多、保存完好而闻名中外，被专家学者誉为世界“丝绸宝库”。此外，还有保存完好的珍贵的西汉古尸。 为了对广大人民群众进行历史唯物主义教育和爱国主义教育，荆州博物馆先后推出了《江汉平原原始文化展》、《江汉平原楚汉文化展》、《传世文物展》、《荆州出土简牍文字展》、《荆州凤凰山168号汉墓展》、《古代漆器精品展》、《楚汉织绣品展》七个具有浓郁地方文化特色的专题文物陈列展览。 荆州博物馆现有工作人员一百多人，其中高级职称19人、中级职称45人，初步形成了一支门类齐全、学术水平较高的文博专业队伍，并出版了一大批在省内外有重要影响的科研成果，先后出版了《江陵雨台山楚墓》、《江陵马山一号楚墓》、《长江中游新石器时代文化概论》、《楚漆器研究》、《楚国丝织品研究》、《楚系简帛文字编》、《肖家屋脊》、《荆州高台秦汉墓》、《枣林岗与堆金台》等专著及三百多篇学术论文，其中《江陵雨台山楚墓》、《江陵马山一号楚墓》等专著还分别获得全国夏鼐考古学术研究成果二等奖和湖北省社会科学研究成果三等奖。一九九三年，荆州博物馆被国家文物局评为地县级十佳优秀博物馆之首，一九九五年被文化部、人事部命名为全国文化先进集体。一九九九年《江汉平原楚汉文化展》获得国家文物局全国十大陈列展览精品奖。二○○○年，荆州博物馆荣获国家旅游局4A级旅游单位称号。二○○三年，我馆“马山一号墓战国楚墓丝织物的保护研究”获湖北省科技进步二等奖。 [1].
