This exhibition explores the connoisseurship of Masuda Takashi (Don'o; 1848-1938) through careful selections of works that were once owned by him as well as those from his collection, which forms a major part of the Gotoh Museum. They include Buddhist paintings and scriptures, Zen-related art, works by Rimpa masters, lacquerware, and ceramics from the tea ceremony.
