Advised by Yang Boda and Qi Xin, this volume is a richly illustrated survey of over 300 Chinese carved jades drawn from collections in Beijing. The selections, all nephrite, range in date from the Neolithic to the Qing, with very fine examples of pendants, boulders, animal carvings, plaques, vases, seals, and thumb rings, among others.
